Job description
Seeking a dedicated Orthopaedic Physician Assistant to join a growing orthopaedic team in Geneva New York on a full-time basis.
Eventual on call responsibility after training has been completed: 1:7
Split time between clinic & OR
Collaborate closely with orthopaedic surgeons and clinical staff in a team-oriented environment
Provide care in both clinic and procedural/surgical settings
Perform comprehensive evaluations and manage acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions
Assist with pre- and post-operative care, fracture management, and treatment planning
Perform procedures including joint injections, splinting, and casting
Order and interpret imaging studies and laboratory tests
Educate patients on treatment, recovery, and injury prevention
Fast-paced practice with strong clinical support and opportunities for professional growth
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Current state licensure and national certification required
DEA license or eligibility required
Orthopaedic or related clinical experience preferred
Strong communication, clinical, and procedural skills highly valued
