Part Time Trauma Surgery NP/PA Opening Norfolk, VAPart Time Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantPosition Highlights:Part-time Trauma Surgery opportunity at a Level I Trauma and Burn CenterJoin an established Trauma team of 5 Trauma Surgeons and 7 Advanced Practice ProvidersWork 2 10-hour shifts per weekWeekend rotation of approximately 1:6Evaluate and manage trauma patients in the Emergency Department and inpatient settingCoordinate patient disposition from the Emergency Department and hospital floorsNo ICU responsibilitiesCollaborate with Trauma Surgeons, APPs, and multidisciplinary care teamsRegional trauma program serving patients across a 125-mile radiusAccess to hospital-based air ambulance and regional EMS servicesFully integrated Epic EMRQualifications:Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant programAcute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantActive or eligible Virginia NP or PA licenseStrong clinical assessment and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a high-acuity Trauma Surgery environmentCompensation & Benefits:Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement plan with employer matching contributionsMalpractice insurance with tail coverage$2,500 annual CME allowance$10,000 student loan reimbursement programPublic Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible employer
