Locums Orthopaedic Surgery Bullhead City, AZ (Active AZ License Required) Why This Role Expedited credentialing in approximately 5 Äì7 days
Temporary privileges available
Ongoing locums coverage
Inpatient and outpatient practice
Broad general orthopaedic and total-joint scope
Assignment Details Start: As soon as credentialed
Duration: Ongoing
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
Facility: Level IV trauma center
Coverage: Scheduled clinical hours plus beeper call
EMR: Athena and Medhost
Volume: Approximately 5 Äì7 patients per shift
Admissions: Six or fewer
Assigned and unassigned patient coverage
Locums coverage supporting a long-term permanent search
Call Beeper call
Required response time: 15 minutes
Phone consultations required
Call frequency and callback expectations require facility confirmation
Clinical Scope Arthroscopy
Total hip and knee replacement
Other total-joint procedures
Shoulder, hip, and knee revision or repair
Hand surgery preferred
Tendon release and repair preferred
Peripheral nerve surgery preferred
Instrumented and non-instrumented spine procedures preferred
Percutaneous disc surgery preferred
Support One RN
One MA
One office staff member
No APP, resident, or teaching supervision required
Requirements Active Arizona medical license
Active Arizona DEA
Board certification is listed as required; the narrative states board-certified or board-eligible, so BE candidates require facility confirmation
Current NPDB self-query
Two years of relevant case logs
Credentialing Approximately 5 Äì7 days
