General Orthopedic Surgeon, Sports Medicine Focus, Northern California Join a well established, hospital employed orthopedic practice near the California Oregon border. This role offers the opportunity to develop a Sports Medicine focus while maintaining a balanced schedule.
Position Highlights Practice Model: Hospital employed General Orthopedic Surgery practice.
Sports Medicine: Develop a Sports Medicine focus within your practice.
OR Access: Dedicated blocked operating room time.
Call Structure: Shared call with no trauma responsibilities.
Schedule: 4.5 day workweek.
Compensation & Benefits Guaranteed Salary: $808,000 starting salary.
Sign On Bonus: $125,000.
Student Loan Repayment: Up to $100,000.
Paid Time Off: 8 weeks of PTO plus paid holidays.
Retirement: Retirement plan with employer match.
Malpractice: Malpractice insurance with tail coverage.
CME: $5,000 CME allowance.
Candidate Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
Sports Medicine interest or experience welcomed
Open to 2027 graduating residents and fellows
