Job description
Registered Nurse – Orthopedic
Rotating shifts including Days, Evenings, and Nights. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required, along with on-call duties based on unit needs.
36 or 48 hours per week.
Must have orthopedic experience.
At least 2 years of nursing experience.
Valid RN license in New York.
Telemetry experience required.
BLS (AHA) certification required.
ACLS (AHA) certification required.
Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans.
Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
Monitor patient condition and progress, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients and families on health management and post-surgery care.
Encourage a positive and supportive team environment.
