Orthopedic Sports Medicine Opening Cooperstown, NYFull TimePermanent PositionSeeking BC/BE Orthopedic Sports Medicine Physician for leadership opportunity in Cooperstown, New YorkPosition Highlights:Leadership opportunity within integrated academic health system0.7 FTE clinical / 0.3 FTE administrative roleOpportunity to shape orthopedic strategy and program growth across Central New YorkMajor teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and SurgeonsEstablished orthopedic department including: - 11 Orthopedic Physicians - 2 Podiatric Surgeons - 2 Podiatrists - 13 Physician AssistantsComprehensive orthopedic subspecialties including: - Sports Medicine - Total Joint - Spine - Trauma - Shoulder and Upper Extremity - Foot and AnkleStrong focus on orthopedic service line expansion and musculoskeletal program growthActive clinical practice combined with administrative leadership responsibilitiesResponsibilities:Maintain active orthopedic sports medicine clinical practiceProvide strategic leadership for orthopedic service line growthExpand musculoskeletal and joint replacement programsOversee staffing, workflows, and clinical operationsLead physician recruitment, retention, and developmentDrive quality, patient safety, and patient experience initiativesManage operational and financial performanceCollaborate with executive and operational leadership teamsMaintain integrated, patient-centered care delivery across the health systemQualifications:Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic SurgeryFellowship training in Sports Medicine preferredLeadership experience preferredActive New York license or ability to obtainCompensation & Benefits:Competitive compensation range: $838,250 - $1,093,166Sign-on bonus up to $200,000Transition stipend of $10,000Medical, dental, and vision insurance403(b) and 457(b) retirement plansGenerous paid time offCME and professional development support Estimated pay range/amount is $ to $ .
