Orthopedic Trauma Surgery opportunity in Cooperstown, New York Located in the Foothills of the Adirondack and Catskill Mountains 75 miles from Albany, NY; 190 miles from NYCSeeking a Fellowship Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon who is also interested in general orthopedics and establishing an elective practice, as well. Full-time, permanent position Hospital employed Academic/Teaching facility 13 Orthopedic Surgeons and 14 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APC) General Orthopedic Call Required, 1:12 with Orthopedic Hospitalist 180 Bed Primary Hospital with Level III Trauma Center 5 Hospital Network covering approximately 620,000 lives Instant Referral Base provided by over 300 Primary Care Clinicians Full Support Staff including APCs with Surgical Residents and Medical Student Interaction Group employed model with competitive salary Comprehensive benefit package, including but not limited to medical, dental, CME, transition stipend and paid malpractice insurance Forbes 2018 Americas Best Mid-Size EmployersAbout the Health Network: Healthcare network is an integrated health care system that provides care and services to people living in an eight county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York.
