Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
4x10s (Monday through Thursday, either 8 am - 6 pm or 7 am - 5 pm)
Job Description
The Occupational Therapist facilitates the development and rehabilitation of physically disabled persons, maximizing the functional status of hospitalized patients. The therapist will evaluate, plan, implement, and modify age-appropriate treatment programs and participate in discharge planning. Additional duties include performing administrative tasks and participating in performance improvement initiatives while pursuing professional growth.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and develop tailored treatment plans.
Implement and modify treatment programs as needed.
Participate in discharge planning and patient education.
Perform required administrative duties and documentation.
Engage in performance improvement initiatives.
Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure BS in Occupational Therapy or higher.
Active AZ Occupational Therapy license.
Minimum of 1 year of experience working independently.
