Occupational Therapist - Travel Position
Location
Dallas, TX
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (alternatively, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for a travel position focusing on inpatient rehabilitation and acute care settings. The primary responsibilities involve providing intensive therapy services to stroke and orthopedic patients, ensuring they receive 3 hours of therapy per day to aid in their recovery.
Responsibilities
Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine patients' therapy needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
Provide therapeutic interventions to facilitate patient recovery and rehabilitation.
Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Texas.
Previous experience in inpatient rehabilitation or acute care settings preferred.
Current certification in CPR/BLS.
