nResponsibilities
nAs a Home Health Occupational Therapist, You will:
nPerform occupational therapy evaluation and treatment of patients based upon physician orders, including recommendation and procurement of adaptive equipment
nEstablish measurable goals and develop treatment plans to move patients toward their maximum level of independence and/or function
nMaintain communication among the treatment team, physician, patient, and family members as applicable
nMaintain thorough and timely documentation of services provided to ensure proper billing
nSupervise Occupational Therapy Assistants in direct patient care and patient-related activities in accordance with state practice act
nQualifications
nGraduate of an Occupational Therapy Education program approved by CAPTE
nCurrent Occupational Therapist licensure in State and American Heart Association CPR certification required; CPR certification may be offered and completed upon hire
nTwo (2) years of experience in adult occupational therapy, home health experience preferred
nExcellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, basic math skills; physical therapy skills per competency checklist
