Occupational Therapist (OT) - NICU
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience, specifically in NICU settings, and be dedicated to providing exceptional care to our youngest patients.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients in the NICU.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapy interventions for patients, ensuring optimal care and recovery.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current OT licensure in the State of Texas.
BLS certification (AHA or ARC).
Minimum of 2 years of experience with a focus on NICU.
Schedule
Days: 06:45 AM - 02:30 PM, with a patient case load of one OT and one ST in NICU. Each patient on the OT caseload is seen three to five times per week.
