Occupational Therapist (Mount Airy, MD)

Mount Airy Nursing and Rehab is a renowned provider of post-acute care, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient-centric care and personalized attention in a warm and welcoming environment. About the Role:

As an Occupational Therapist with Mount Airy Nursing and Rehab, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, providing expert care and support to help them recover and regain independence. You will:

Conduct initial evaluations to identify patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans

Implement targeted interventions to improve functional abilities, mobility, and cognitive function

Develop and implement adaptive equipment and assistive technology to support patient independence

Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care

Conduct ongoing assessments and adjust treatment plans as needed

Responsibilities: Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans

Participate in staff meetings, in-services, and continuing education to stay current on best practices and industry developments

Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards

Demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care, dignity, and respect
