Job Description
Occupational Therapist - Acute Care
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Day shift, 5x8 hours from 07:00 AM to 03:00 PM. Rotating weekends approximately every 3-4 weeks.
Job Description
The Occupational Therapist (OT) will provide comprehensive therapy services in a Short Term Acute Care facility. The position requires floating between various units, including acute care, medical, ICU, and inpatient rehab. The OT will handle a diverse patient population with conditions ranging from multi-trauma, neurological issues, post-surgical recovery, to various orthopedic challenges.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat patients with a variety of diagnoses.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
Deliver therapy sessions, ensuring adherence to productivity standards.
Maintain accurate patient documentation using Epic charting system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Valid Washington State Occupational Therapy License.
Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience required.
Experience with inpatient rehabilitation is a plus.
Strong commitment to teamwork, flexibility, and time management skills.
