nHours: Monday through Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

nWhat you'll do:

nThe Occupational Therapist Resource Clinician provides clinical guidance and development to staff and serves as a clinical resource to staff and collaborates with Clinical Coordinator and Director. Provides direct patient care, which may include evaluating patients, planning and modifying patient care, and conducting treatment. Consistently demonstrates support of Loyola's Statement of Mission and Philosophy and Trinity Core Values.

nPractice Management - Assists Clinical Coordinator and Manager in the

ndevelopment of competency-based criteria for clinical skills. Validates

nstaff competency related to clinical skills. Assists with operations in the

nabsence of the clinical coordinator and/or manager and functions as a

ndesignate. Updates clinical protocols regularly to ensure most recent

ntechnology. Participates in the development of special projects for the

ndepartment. Assist in referral development in conjunction with Manager

nand Clinical Coordinator. Participates on committees/task forces/QI

nMeetings, to represent the rehabilitation services department.

nProgram and Staff Development - Assists with clinical and ancillary

nsupport personnel professional development activities. Coordinates,

nschedules and oversees new employee orientation activities for clinical

nskills, programs, and protocols. Oversees preceptors to ensure

nconsistency in orientation program. Assist Clinical Coordinator and

nManager with cross training of staff. Assist in coordinating and

nscheduling staff participation in rounds, clinics, meetings, in services,

nplanning conferences. Provides input into staff performance appraisals.

nCoaches, counsels and mentors staff on clinical and behavioral

nperformance standards and accountabilities related to patient care

nactivities. Assigns and delegate task and projects to staff based on skill

nlevel. Provides guidance and follow up as needed. Co-treats with staff as

nnecessary for complex cases to ensure positive outcomes as well as for

nstaff development. Ensures ongoing education and assists staff in

ndeveloping personal goals and objectives. Participates in hiring new staff.

nWhat you'll need for this job:

nnnMasters Degree; Occupational Therapy

nn3-5 years of job-related experience preferred

n

nnBasic Life Support (CPR)

n

nnLicensed/Registered as an Occupational Therapist

nPay Range: $34.48-$59.92 per hour

nActual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
