Job Responsibilities
Manage post-operative cardiothoracic surgery patients (ICU and floor)
Conduct daily rounds and coordinate multidisciplinary care
Perform pre-operative physical exams and evaluations
Remove sutures and manage surgical wound care
Diagnose and treat adult and geriatric patients
Order and interpret diagnostic testing
Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans
Participate in structured call rotation
Qualifications
NCCPA Certified Physician Assistant
Active or eligible for Ohio State licensure
BLS and ACLS certifications
Cardiothoracic or cardiac surgery experience required
Strong autonomous clinical decision-making skills
Clean professional and malpractice background
