Job description
ATC Locums in Kearney, Nebraska is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon to provide inpatient and emergency department call coverage. With no clinic responsibilities, low daily patient volume, and dedicated hospital support, this is an excellent opportunity for physicians who enjoy operative fracture care and focused trauma call.

Opportunity Highlights Location: Kearney, Nebraska
Practice Setting: Level II Trauma Center Inpatient/Emergency Department
Coverage Dates: August
September
October
November
December 7 13
Schedule: 24-hour call coverage (7:00 AM 7:00 AM)
Ongoing Availability: Multiple week-long coverage blocks available
Practice Details Dedicated 24/7 orthopedic trauma call
No outpatient clinic responsibilities
Surgical management of orthopedic trauma cases as needed
Procedures: General orthopedic surgery and fracture care
Average patient volume: 1 2 patients per day
Average callback time: Approximately 2 hours
Hospitalists manage medical admissions
Resources & Support EMR: Epic
Experienced Emergency Department and Operating Room teams
Credentialing timeframe: Approximately days
Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
Completion of an Orthopedic Surgery residency
Nebraska medical license or IMLC eligibility
DEA required
ATLS preferred
