Practice Setting and Clinical Scope
This assignment focuses primarily on general ENT care, allowing you to provide comprehensive consultations and treatments. You'll handle a manageable patient volume of approximately 16 patients per day in the clinic. While significant facial trauma cases are not part of this role, you may engage in scheduled surgical cases, thus enhancing your surgical expertise. The position requires comfort in treating both adult and pediatric patients, ensuring a diverse case mix.
Schedule and Assignment Details
The ENT Physician will be on call for any consults in the hospital from 5pm to 8am, providing essential coverage during these hours. On weekends, you'll manage 24-hour call duties, which are designed to include four hours of gratis work. This predictable schedule is ideal for those seeking a balance between professional duties and personal time.
Support and Work Environment
Join a well-supported team comprising 1 RN, 2 LPNs, 2 registration specialists, and audiologists, ensuring that you have the resources needed to provide exceptional patient care. The team functions within a collaborative environment, using the Epic EMR system to streamline patient management and communication. This supportive structure is designed to help you focus on delivering high-quality care without administrative burdens.
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible within three years of residency in Otolaryngology.
Ability to manage both adult and pediatric patients.
Eligible candidates must have no pending malpractice cases or negative background issues.
Licensure through IMLC or state licensure candidates are welcome, provided they meet the requirements.
