OTR Truck Driver (CDL Class A), Full-Time
Job Type: Full-time
Routes: Midwest, South, Southeast, and East Coast (no New York City)
Pay:
$0.65 - $0.70 per mile (dry van) | $0.70 - $0.75 per mile (reefer)
About the Role
We're looking for a reliable, skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. You'll be responsible for the safe, efficient delivery of goods to various locations while following all safety regulations and company policies. This role calls for a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to operate different types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, dry vans, and refrigerated trailers.
Routes
We run the Midwest, South, Southeast, and East Coast. We do not run New York City.
Compensation
Dry van: $0.65 - $0.70 per mile
Reefer: $0.70 - $0.75 per mile
Typical miles: Around 3,000 miles per week, or 12,000 - 14,000 miles per month
Typical weekly pay: Drivers average around $2,200-$2500 per week
Pay range:
Our lowest weekly checks have been around $1,800, and strong drivers who can run 3,500 miles make up to $2,700-$3000 per week
Equipment
You'll drive a newer, DOT-legal truck that's always maintained on time.
Model years: 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026 and 2027
Makes: Freightliner Cascadia, new-body Kenworth, and Volvo
Every truck comes equipped with an inverter, fridge, and microwave
Responsibilities
Operate and drive tractor-trailers, dry vans, and refrigerated trailers
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and regulatory compliance
Keep accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption
Follow all traffic laws and regulations to keep yourself and others safe
Communicate with dispatchers about delivery schedules and any issues that come up in transit
Provide courteous, professional customer service at every delivery
Qualifications
Valid CDL Class A license (required)
2+ years of CDL A driving experience
Acceptable motor vehicle record, with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
No SAP drivers
Knowledge of safe driving practices and vehicle maintenance procedures
Strong attention to detail for accurate log keeping and regulatory compliance
Excellent time management to meet delivery deadlines consistently
Ability to work independently and as part of a team when needed
