Job description
The VA Central Iowa Health Care System seeks an Outpatient Clinical Pharmacist to support the Pharmacy Service as part of the Outpatient section. The incumbent reports to the Outpatient Pharmacy Supervisor and participates in medication management, counseling, and pharmacokinetic monitoring to optimize patient outcomes.
Responsibilities include evaluating therapy, communicating recommendations to prescribers, performing medication histories, and providing drug information.
