nPosition Overview:
nWe are seeking a skilled Internal Medicine/Family Medicine Physician to join our team. This position will be primarily outpatient/office visits. We are a partner with Holy Name Medical Center and continue to grow our footprint in Northern New Jersey.
nResponsibilities:
nnProvide primary medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases and injuries
nConduct physical examinations and interpret medical history
nOrder and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies
nDevelop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical evidence
nPrescribe medications and monitor patient response to treatment
nPerform minor surgical procedures, such as suturing and wound care
nCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
nMaintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems (eClinicalWorks)
nAdhere to infection control protocols to ensure patient safety
n nQualifications:
nn Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
n Board certification.
n Valid medical license in NJ.
n Proficient in a wide range of medical procedures, including gastric lavage, catheterization, psychopharmacology, administering injections, airway management, tube feeding, and dermabrasion
n Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
n Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families
n Ability to work well in a team-based healthcare environment
n Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
