Work Environment
As a part of our innovative telehealth framework, you will conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home or any private space that suits you best. Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and develop tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
Facilitate counseling sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, adapting your approach based on individual and situational needs.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care, participating in regular case consultations to ensure cohesive treatment strategies.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
Participate in ongoing professional development, including supervision and training, to enhance your skills and stay current with industry practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your primary focus will be on adults facing various psychological challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress management, and relationship issues. We also support clients dealing with more serious concerns like trauma, substance use disorders, and grief. Your empathetic approach will be pivotal in helping them attain their goals in a supportive therapeutic environment.
Qualifications
A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
Current and active license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) within the state of New Jersey is mandatory.
Proven experience in delivering counseling services to diverse populations, with a minimum of two years of clinical experience preferred.
Preferred Experience
Specialization in family therapy, couples counseling, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse treatment is highly desirable.
Experience working within a telehealth environment will be an asset, though training will be provided to ensure comfort with our digital platforms.
Compensation and Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skills. Additionally, you will have access to an unlimited number of client referrals, allowing you to build your practice efficiently. We take care of your billing and administrative tasks, enabling you to dedicate your time to what matters most—your clients.
