Position Overview
MAK Anesthesia is seeking a Pediatric Fellowship-Trained Anesthesiologist to serve as Outpatient Medical Director across several Wellstar outpatient and health park locations. This leadership role combines clinical excellence with operational oversight, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered anesthesia care across a dynamic multi‑site practice. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated anesthesiologist with 3–5 years of experience who is passionate about pediatric care, ambulatory anesthesia, and physician leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical leadership for outpatient anesthesia services across assigned sites
Ensure high standards of patient safety, quality, and efficiency
Collaborate with surgeons, hospital administration, and clinical teams to optimize workflows
Support, mentor, and engage anesthesia providers across locations
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, compliance, and performance tracking
Assist with staffing models, scheduling, and operational planning
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship Training required
3–5 years of post‑training clinical experience preferred
Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Experience in ambulatory/outpatient anesthesia settings strongly preferred
Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Georgia
