nnnUp to $10,000.00 Sign On Bonus

nnUp to $3,000.00 Relocation Bonus

nnSchedule: 40 hours per week Flexible options for schedule Monday- Friday Possibility of a half day Saturday

nnLocation: Sports Medicine and Rehab 3310 WATERMAN WAY, Tavares, 32778 With some travel to other clinics as needed

n

nnDetermines physical therapy diagnosis and establishes a plan of care, making recommendations for referral if treatment is needed outside the scope of physical therapist practice.

n

nnDesigns and implements treatment plan of care utilizing practice standards, recommended techniques, modalities, insurance guidelines, and patient needs.

n

nnAssesses patient ability to safely and effectively perform functional mobility skills and evaluates muscle, nerve, joint, and integumentary systems.

n

nnPerforms evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards.

n

nnAdjusts and adapts to changes in patient census by altering working hours to assist in other centers and programs as approved and observed by the manager or director.

n

nnOversees the care provided by physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides, according to established regulations and practice standards.

n

nnParticipates in practice changes as a result of performance improvement activities and supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department.

n

nnSupports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, and/or other extension of clinical expertise to the community. . Other duties as assigned

nnDoctorate (Preferred)

n nField of Study:

nnin Physical Therapy

n nWork Experience:

nnTreating primarily the orthopedic population (Preferred)

n nAdditional Information:

nnEducation requirements for this position are determined by the licensing or certification standards set forth by the relevant certifying body. Applicants must possess the level of education mandated for eligibility to obtain and maintain the required license or certification.

n nLicenses and Certifications:

nnnBasic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) (Required)

nnPhysical Therapist (PT) (Required) OR

nnPhysical Therapist - Temporary (PT-TEMP) (Required)
