Job description
Flash Forward Foundation is a student-led 501(c)(3) based in Bellevue, WA. We design and build solar-powered flashlights from scratch and ship them to students in Ghana, Bangladesh, DRC, and Vietnam who study after dark without reliable electricity.
We're looking for Outreach & Partnerships volunteers to help us grow our network of schools, NGOs, and distribution partners.
What you'll do:
Research and identify schools and NGOs in target countries that could benefit from our flashlights
Find contact emails and reach out to potential partners on our behalf
Help manage ongoing partner relationships and follow-up communications
Support our outreach workflow including email templates and tracking spreadsheets
What we're looking for:
Strong written communication skills
Comfortable doing research and cold outreach
Interest in international development, education access, or nonprofit work
No prior experience required. We will train you.
Time commitment: 2-5 hours/week, flexible schedule. Fully remote.
