Job description
Licensed Medicare Sales Representative
A leading healthcare organization is seeking licensed Medicare sales representatives to work as outreach specialists supporting Medicare open enrollment. This is a field-based position where you will engage with community members, provide education about Medicare plans, and assist with enrollment across the five boroughs of New York City.
Responsibilities:
Conduct outreach at community events, hospitals, senior centers, and other locations
Educate prospective members about Medicare plan options
Assist individuals with the Medicare enrollment process
Travel to assigned outreach locations across NYC boroughs
Represent the organization professionally in the community
Ensure compliance with Medicare guidelines and regulations
Requirements:
Minimum two years of managed care or healthcare experience
Active NYS Life, Accident & Health Insurance License (required)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently in a field-based role
Must maintain valid license and continuing education requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual candidates preferred: Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Russian
Valid NYS Driver's License is a plus
Benefits information:
Pay Rate: $42 per hour
Employment Type: Contract / Full-Time (Medicare Open Enrollment Support)
