Job description

A&D Sales Executive

Maiden Home is an authority in the world of luxury home furnishings. The brand designs original pieces at its New York studio, sources exquisite materials from trusted partners around the world, and works directly with distinguished artisans to bring them to life—then, it delivers them with pricing, and lead times that are unheard of in the furniture industry. Maiden Home is growing a team of forward-thinking individuals who possess unique strengths and perspectives, an innate ability to inspire their colleagues, and an eagerness to reimagine the world of luxury furnishings. We are seeking a high performing and seasoned A&D Sales Executive to grow our contract and residential channels for the Washington D.C. area. This role will focus on building and managing partnerships with interior design and architecture firms, developers, hospitality groups, government agencies, staging companies, and other commercial clients, ultimately leading to driving incremental revenue growth in our contract and residential channels. Our ideal candidate brings a strong luxury sales mindset, excellent taste, and a consultative approach to selling, with the ability to navigate longer sales cycles and complex client needs while delivering a best-in-class brand experience.

This is a unique opportunity to join a brand that is primed for its next stage of growth–with a proven competitive advantage in its ability to attract, motivate and retain top talent across a range of disciplines. At Maiden Home, you'll find a workspace that encourages innovation, creative expression, and collaboration, and your experience will be shaped by your performance, contributions, and drive.

This is a remote location based out of Washington, D.C. with frequent travel. Responsibilities include:

Drive incremental revenue growth across Maiden Home's contract and residential sales channel.

Identify, prospect, and develop relationships with architects, interior designers, hospitality groups, staging firms, government agencies, workplaces, and other trade partners.

Manage the full sales cycle from outreach and qualification through quoting, negotiation, close, and post-sale relationship management.

Serve as a product and brand expert, guiding clients toward solutions that align with their aesthetic, functional, timeline, and budget needs.

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry events.

Partner closely with clients on large-scale and multi-unit projects, ensuring a high-touch, service-driven experience throughout.

Prepare proposals, pricing quotes, product recommendations, and presentations tailored to client needs.

Coach and guide day to day activities for dedicated Sales Support Associate.

Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, customer experience, operations, and leadership teams to support contract opportunities and ensure smooth execution.

Track account activity, pipeline health, and sales performance in CRM systems and provide regular reporting and forecasts.

Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, market trends, and client needs within the luxury design and furnishings space.

Represent Maiden Home with polish and professionalism in client meetings, showroom appointments, trade events, and industry networking opportunities.

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate should be located in the D.C. area.

6+ years of experience in luxury contract A&D sales, with an extensive personal book of business required.

Experience in luxury furniture, textiles, lighting, or related interior categories.

Strong network within the A&D community throughout the Washington D.C. Area and proven experience working with leading design firms.

Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand client needs and translate them into thoughtful product solutions.

Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative, and growing business

Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Highly skilled at managing multiple accounts and long lead-time projects simultaneously

Curiosity and a growth mindset, with interest in new tools and digital platforms.

Strong aesthetic sensibility and passion for luxury design, interiors, and craftsmanship
