Minimum qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
* Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in spare parts, automotive, or industrial sales.
* Valid driver's license and a clean driving record to travel within the assigned territory.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish a good relationship with diverse clients.
* Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet sales targets.
Preferred degrees:
* Experience in using CRM software and sales tracking tools.
* Knowledge of automotive or industrial parts and their applications.
* Previous experience working in a B2B sales environment.
* Proven ability to negotiate and close complex sales agreements.
* Additional certifications related to sales or the automotive industry.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients through regular in-person visits and communication.
* Identify the customer's needs and recommend the appropriate parts and solutions to effectively meet those needs.
* Manage a designated sales territory by planning routes, scheduling appointments, and prioritizing client visits to maximize sales opportunities.
* Prepare and deliver sales presentations, negotiate prices and terms, and close sales to meet or exceed sales targets.
* Collaborate with internal departments such as inventory, logistics, and customer service to ensure accurate order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
* Keep detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence using CRM software.
* Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments to provide well-founded recommendations to clients.
