Outside Sales Representative/Engineer - East & Southeast Pittsburgh TerritoryWe're looking for an ambitious Outside Sales Representative / Engineer to own and grow our client's East & Southeast Pittsburgh territory. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical problem-solving with relationship-driven sales and new business development.You'll represent a full line of engineered pumps, related equipment, and services, working directly with industrial customers to understand their applications, recommend reliable solutions, and build long-term business relationships.What you'll be doing:Generate new business while growing and servicing an established customer baseIdentify and qualify sales opportunities by understanding customer operations, challenges, and technical requirementsDevelop new accounts and maximize the potential of existing relationshipsAnalyze customer specifications and apply engineering knowledge to recommend the right products and solutionsRegularly visit customer locations throughout the territoryBuild strong relationships that drive customer loyalty and repeat businessDevelop and maintain productive relationships with suppliersPrepare monthly and annual sales forecasts and territory plansManage your territory effectively and maintain a consistent customer-facing presenceWhat we're looking for:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a technical discipline preferred2–3 years of proven sales experience, preferably within the industrial marketplaceExperience selling to large, complex companies or industrial organizationsDemonstrated ability to penetrate new accounts and develop businessStrong territory and business planning skillsExcellent communication, relationship-building, and time-management skillsA technical mindset with the ability to understand customer applications and translate needs into effective solutionsCompensation & Benefits:Competitive base salary plus commission planCar allowance and reimbursement for travel and business expensesCompany-sponsored health plan401(k) with company matchComprehensive benefits packageIf you're a technically minded sales professional who enjoys being in front of customers, developing new business, and taking ownership of a territory, this could be an excellent next step.
