About Correct Equipment
Now in our 27th year, Correct Equipment sells, installs, and services technical equipment for the municipal water and wastewater industry. We exclusively represent ten manufacturers of flowmeters, LPS systems, instruments, controls, pumps, chlorination systems, and valves — the best names in the business.
Our reps work out of their trucks, not a cubicle. We're technical salespeople who aren't afraid to get dirty and get the job done.

What You'll Do
Travel your territory building relationships with city personnel, engineering consultants, public works directors, water plant operators, and collection/distribution system staff
Identify opportunities and guide them through the municipal purchasing process
Represent our full lineup of manufacturer partners as the trusted local expert
Jump in to support clients directly when needed, alongside our team of seven trained technicians
Work from a home office anywhere between King County and Olympia, west of the Cascades (local candidates preferred)
Who We're Looking For
Soft skills come first. We want someone optimistic, personable, honest, confident, organized, and ambitious.
Experience helps but isn't required. Sales experience is a plus, especially in technical, electrical, or mechanical fields. Water or wastewater industry background is a bonus. If you don't have direct experience, we provide comprehensive training. We know this is a niche industry, and we're glad to develop the right person.
This is relationship-based selling. xavwley You'll manage a focused book of a few hundred accounts in a tight-knit industry where reputation and performance matter.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary starting at $90,000, converting to unlimited commission after an initial period
Medical and dental coverage, with the company covering 75% of the employee's premium
401(k) with up to 4% company match
Company vehicle plus expenses covered
