Outside Shipper - 1st Shift - Abilene FacilityGreat Plains Manufacturing is currently seeking a 1st Shift Outside Shipper at our Abilene Facility. This position works Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with overtime as required. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:Safely load GP product on a variety of different trailersMust be able to work outside in all weather conditionsAbility to maintain paperwork accuracyMust be able to work overtime or flexible hours on short noticeMust be mechanically inclinedMust be open to changeOther duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environmentFollow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed PPE as requiredPreferred skills and qualifications:Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong organization and housekeepingExperience driving a variety of different forkliftsStrong knowledge of Great Plains product structure helpfulExhibit self-motivation, positive attitude and be results orientedMust have a mechanical backgroundAt Great Plains Manufacturing, our people make the difference, making our company a great place to work and grow.
