Oven Operator FabricationNow Hiring: Oven Operator (Powder Coat / Fluid Bed Coating) Location: Sturgeon Bay, WI Company: NSC Staffing Send Resumes to: NSC Staffing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Oven Operator to support manufacturing and coating operations in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. This position is responsible for assisting with rubberized and plastic coating processes, monitoring production equipment, maintaining coating quality, and supporting daily manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing, production, coating, or assembly experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment where quality and attention to detail are critical.Position OverviewThe Oven Operator is responsible for supporting powder coating and fluid bed coating operations by preparing parts, operating coating equipment, monitoring process conditions, and ensuring finished products meet quality standards. This role requires close attention to production requirements, equipment performance, and workplace safety. Successful candidates will work closely with production team members to support coating operations, packaging, and material flow throughout the manufacturing process.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with rubberized and plastic coating operations on manufactured parts.Hang steel components on production hooks and racks for processing through the coating system.Place and position parts properly to ensure coating quality and production efficiency.Learn and follow coating procedures specific to each product and component.Oven & Fluid Bed MonitoringMonitor oven temperatures and adjust processes as required.Monitor fluid bed material levels and replenish as needed.Observe coating equipment performance and identify potential operational issues.Ensure coating operations meet production and quality requirements.Equipment Support & MaintenanceClean hanging hooks and production fixtures as required.Inspect hooks and replace damaged or worn components.Learn equipment operating characteristics and report maintenance concerns.Assist production and maintenance teams in identifying equipment performance issues.Packaging & Production SupportAssemble boxes and packaging materials for finished products.Label and package finished goods according to production requirements.Support material handling and workflow throughout the production process.Maintain production schedules while meeting quality standards.Quality & SafetyFollow all production and quality control procedures.Inspect products for defects or coating inconsistencies.Maintain clean and organized work areas.Follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements.Qualifications & Experience Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.Strong attendance and reliability.Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience in: Manufacturing, Production, Powder coating, Paint line operations, Industrial finishing, Assembly operations.Experience working with production equipment and manufacturing processes.Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.Work ScheduleMonday through Friday6:00 AM – 2:30 PMOvertime may be available based on production requirements but is not mandatory.Work EnvironmentManufacturing and production facility environment.Exposure to: Industrial ovens, Coating equipment, Production machinery, Manufacturing materials, Industrial noise.Fast-paced production environment with daily production goals.Required use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.Frequent reaching, bending, and repetitive hand motions.Ability to safely work around production equipment and moving materials.Ability to work in varying temperatures associated with manufacturing operations.Why NSC Staffing?
