1st & 2nd Shift Available
Pay: $20.00–$23.00/hour, based on experience
Magic Coil Products is a growing, family-owned steel processing company in Butler, Indiana. We are currently hiring Overhead Crane Operators for both 1st and 2nd shift.
Previous overhead crane experience is REQUIRED. We want a candidate with strong work history, overhead crane experience, and a commitment to safety.
What You‘ll Do
As an Overhead Crane Operator, you will operate a 25- to 35-ton overhead crane to safely move and position large steel coils throughout the facility.
Responsibilities include:
Use a remote control to operate overhead cranes to move and position steel coils
Load and unload trucks and rail cars
Feed steel coils into slitting and processing equipment
Safely lift, move, and stage heavy steel materials
Inspect crane equipment before use and report any safety or maintenance concerns
Follow proper material-handling procedures
Communicate with production team members to coordinate safe material movement
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines
Qualifications
Previous overhead crane experience required
Steel, manufacturing, warehouse, or heavy industrial experience is a plus
Experience moving heavy materials or large loads
Ability to follow safety procedures and communicate clearly with coworkers
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Willingness to learn and be trained on equipment and procedures
Pay
$20.00–$23.00 per hour , based on prior crane experience. $1.00/hour shift premium for 2nd shift.
Plus:
Weekly Attendance Bonus — Earn an additional $1.00/hour for perfect attendance that week.
