Job description
Overnight BakerThe Overnight Baker will be responsible for baking and finishing the Company's baked good items, including donuts, bagels, croissants, etc. The Baker/Finisher will be expected to execute proper pre-bake, baking, and post-bake procedures in a timely fashion to produce consistent, high-quality finished baked products to customers.Responsibilities of Finisher/Baker PositionAble to work quickly and efficiently with minimal directionPays special Attention to DetailTakes Special Pride and Personal Interest in their workSelf-Motivated and CooperativeGood Time ManagementAble to interpret, understand and follow instructionsFollows Crew Policy & Dunkin StandardsGuest SatisfactionMeet Daily production levels as determined by Kitchen ManagerFinishes all products to the level that ensures guest satisfactionEnsure Brand production standards and systems are executed on their shiftTransition to crew position when production levels are complete for the day.Assist on the floor when needed throughout shiftTeamworkActively learns and partners with the manager to complete the required trainingSupports the training of new crew members as requestedWork well with the team and treats people with respectRespond positively to coaching and directionArrives ready to work on timeComplete all job tasks required leaving the kitchen clean and organized for the next finisherHold themselves accountable for responsibilities during their shiftAdhere to safety standards to protect self and others from injuryPerform other work duties assigned to assist fellow team membersProfitabilityHandle all equipment with care and pride to ensure no damages occurFollow Uniform Standard for Finisher/Baker.Finisher/Baker is required to wear a white apron while making the product.Note: when help is requested on the floor, they must put a brown apron on in place of the white apron and put the white apron back on when resuming finishing/baking duties.Prepare all products following appropriate recipes and proceduresMinimizes product waste by monitoring temperatures and cooking times.Follows processes to control food costs during their shift (weighing pumps, follows DD Job Aides)Completes production worksheets and related checklists provided by KM.Assist in the calculation of production #'s as assigned.Cleanliness/OrganizationMust keep work station, kitchen and sink neat, clean and clutter-free throughout the shift.Efficiency/ Time ManagementMust complete production in a timely fashionMust be able to multi-taskProductMust follow appropriate job aids for all productsMeet the demand of business by providing appropriate ample product production throughout shiftFood SafetyEnsure the safety and security of the team and guests through a focus to food safety and sanitationMerchandisingKeep bakery cases full and attractive throughout shiftAssist in back case merchandising throughout the shift (following merchandising standards binder)
