Overnight Distribution Associate$21.50 HourlySunday through Thursday Night Shift!Great Benefits 401k Match, Health Savings Account Employer Contributions, etc!This facility is located in Austell, GA!Empire Distributors Inc, A Leading Beverage Distributor is now hiring an Overnight Distribution Associate. Our company offers competitive wages, potential growth opportunities, and excellent benefits that include, but aren't limited to health care, retirement benefits, paid time off, company paid life insurances, and supplemental Aflac and legal plans.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis person will pull orders, stock, store, and distribute inventory and products within the warehouse. This person will also load trucks for next day delivery.Utilizes computerized inventory systems to include SAP and KEA.Reads schedules, orders and other requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Transfers inventory lines to vehicles for next day deliveries.Replenishes inventory lines as needed.Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for stock items and places inventory on vehicles. Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated areas.Marks materials with identifying information.Opens bales, crates, and other containers. Repacks containers as necessary.Weighs or counts items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards.Assist with counting of inventory.Cleans and maintains warehouse daily according to clean up specifications as directed by team lead and management.Other duties as assigned by the Night Manager, Supervisor, and Lead.Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Computer SkillsBasic Computer Skills.Empire is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and a drug free workplace.
