Job DescriptionJob DescriptionA-Line Staffing is now hiring Overnight Pharmacy Technician – Micro Fulfillment Center in Northlake, TX. The Pharmacy Technician would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.
Pharmacy Technician Compensation
The pay for this position is $21.60 per hour
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Pharmacy Technician Highlights
This position is located in Northlake, TX 76262
There are two available schedule options:
Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM-6:00 AM
Sunday, Wednesday-Friday, 3:30 PM-1:30 AM
This position supports prescription fulfillment operations within a high-volume micro fulfillment center
The role requires strict adherence to HIPAA regulations, data entry procedures, and quality control standards
Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities
Sort, count, fill, label, pack, and prepare prescription medications for shipment
Operate automated pharmacy machinery and support inventory movement through fulfillment stages
Process refill requests and prescription orders in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
Troubleshoot missing prescription information and interpret medical abbreviations and SIG codes
Enter new patient registration and prescription information into the designated system
Resolve data entry exceptions and assist with prescription workflow issues
Maintain clean and organized work areas and assist with routine equipment cleaning and maintenance
Resolve third-party insurance rejects by reviewing information, making corrections, and resubmitting claims
Identify and escalate operational or processing issues to senior staff when appropriate
Pharmacy Technician Requirements
Must hold a Pharmacy Technician License in the state of Texas
High School Diploma or GED required
Basic computer skills, including navigating systems, saving and printing documents, and accessing online tools
Intermediate keyboarding skills with a minimum of 25 WPM required; 35 WPM preferred
Ability to accurately process prescription and patient information while following established procedures
Ability to work in a high-volume fulfillment environment while maintaining quality and accuracy
Pharmacy Technician Preferred Qualifications
Approximately 2 years of relevant pharmacy technician experience
Keyboarding speed of 35 WPM or higher
Experience with prescription processing, pharmacy fulfillment, or automated pharmacy equipment
Familiarity with prescription data entry, insurance rejects, and SIG codes
