Job description
Production SupervisorA production supervisor will oversee the overnight staff and operations. While we are a bakery, no baking experience is needed and training will be provided. We're seeking a detailed and process oriented individual to enforce company recipes, procedures and policies for the overnight staff. The supervisor will be heavily supported by the general manager, providing the necessary guidance to achieve success and advance personal development.The production supervisor is responsible for managing all aspects of the production process including (but not limited to):Supervise staff to foster a respectful and productive environment focused on qualityAddress any immediate staffing issues such as call-ins, which may require altering the schedule or filling in as neededMeet at least weekly with the general manager to creating a work schedule and address any needsInterview new bakery staff candidates and overseeing new staff trainingMaintain a housekeeping and sanitation program in the bakeryMaintain a quality assurance program for the bakeryCreate vendor orders and ensuring proper rotation of delivered goodsCompletion of audits and reports for the bakeryExcellent Hourly wages with OT opportunities, Time-and-a-Half for major holidays, Paid vacation and sick leave, Medical Plan, 401K with employer matching, Flexible scheduling, Direct deposit, Meal plan with discounts.The production supervisor must be able to work along side the staff, leading by example. Must be on-site during times of peak demand such as weekends and holidays. Bi-lingual is preferred.
