OVERNIGHT SECURITY GUARD – CAR DEALERSHIPBlueline Security Services is seeking a reliable, alert, and professional Security Guard to provide overnight security at a car dealership in Waldorf, Maryland. The Security Guard will be responsible for protecting the dealership property, vehicles, buildings, and surrounding areas through regular vehicle and foot patrols. The ideal candidate must remain active, observant, and alert throughout the overnight shift, including during quiet periods.The primary responsibilities include conducting regular vehicle and foot patrols of the dealership property, monitoring vehicles, buildings, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding areas for suspicious activity, maintaining a visible security presence throughout the property, identifying and reporting suspicious persons, vehicles, activity, damage, or safety concerns, responding appropriately to security concerns and incidents, completing accurate Daily Activity Reports (DARs) documenting patrols and observations, completing detailed Incident Reports when required, using a company-approved smartphone to complete reports and communicate with Operations, following all Blueline Security Services and client post orders, maintaining professional conduct and appearance while on duty, and immediately reporting emergencies or significant incidents to the appropriate parties.Minimum requirements include the ability to read and write in English, a valid driver's license, the ability to conduct both driving and foot patrols, the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, the physical capability of remaining active throughout an overnight shift, the ability to remain awake, alert, and attentive during quiet periods, comfort using a smartphone to complete daily reports and incident reports, reliable transportation to and from the assigned location, dependability and consistent reporting to work on time, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor. A valid Maryland Security Guard License is preferred/required as applicable.Schedule requirements include Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Weekend and overnight availability is required.We are looking for someone who is reliable and punctual, alert and observant, comfortable working independently, comfortable working overnight, able to stay active during quiet periods, professional and respectful, able to communicate clearly, comfortable using a smartphone for documentation, and willing to perform regular patrols rather than remaining stationary for the entire shift.
