Physician Assistant -Cardiothoracic Surgeryin Pinehurst, NC

Responsibilities
Advanced cardiac program offers minimally invasive procedures, TAVR, CABG, robotic surgery, lung procedures and more.
FourPA team supports three talented surgeons.
Responsibilities include first assist,post-op carewithICU management, and clinic.
Monday – Friday schedule with1:4call.

Qualifications
Must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification.
Twoyears ofCTsurgeryPA experience preferred.
Position-specificknowledge andskillsrequired:
Proficient with saphenous vein harvest (open and endoscopic)and tube thoracostomy
Management of ventilators and critically ill patients
In-depth knowledgeofand experienceintitrating inotropic and pressor medications
Efficientwith placement ofcentral lines,arterial lines(femoral, radial), Swan-Ganz catheters, andchest tubes
Unrestricted NC Physician Assistant license, NC DEA, and ACLS certification through AHArequired.
