Job description
Urology Advanced Practice Provider
Full-time APP opportunity in urology at AdventHealth Gordon.
Requirements:
Advanced practice provider – nurse practitioner or physician assistant – licensed in Georgia.
Eligible to be state licensed in the U.S.
Duties:
Acts as the primary physician extender.
Provides medical treatment under the supervision of the physician.
Conducts patient examinations and follow-ups, provides treatment plan.
Inpatient rounding.
Works with complex surgical patients both pre and post operatively.
Obtains and dictates history and physical, progress notes, and discharge summaries to document care given to patient.
Ensures all pertinent data in patient charts are counter-signed by the supervising physician.
Coordinates advanced diagnostic and therapeutic patient care procedures by assisting with the technical and medical aspects of simulation and treatment planning.
Other duties as assigned.
