Package Operator II | Pharmaceutical ManufacturingPosition: Package Operator IIEmployment Type: Full-TimeIndustry: Pharmaceutical ManufacturingShift Options:1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AMWeekend overtime required as needed (1-2 Saturdays per month)Key ResponsibilitiesInspect medicine bottles to ensure proper fill levels and product quality.Package, label, and prepare pharmaceutical products for distribution.Operate packaging and production equipment according to SOPs.Perform visual inspections to identify defects and maintain quality standards.Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company policies.Complete required documentation accurately and timely.Learn and operate multiple packaging lines and equipment.Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile work area.Support production goals while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED required.Previous experience in pharmaceutical, manufacturing, packaging, or production environments preferred.Ability to understand and follow SOPs and GMP regulations.Strong attention to detail and quality.Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.Comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting.Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.Preferred QualificationsExperience as a Packaging Operator, Filling Operator, or Production Operator.Knowledge of GMP and FDA-regulated environments.Machine operation experience.Cleanroom or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.Experience with quality inspections and production documentation.Work EnvironmentClimate-controlled, clean, and sterile pharmaceutical facility.Required PPE includes lab coats, hair nets, shoe covers, and scrubs.Employees work in a GMP-compliant cleanroom environment.Team-oriented environment focused on quality, safety, and compliance.Why Join Us?Entry-Level Opportunities with Training ProvidedClean & Climate-Controlled FacilityCompetitive Pay and Overtime OpportunitiesCareer Growth and Advancement PotentialEmployee Appreciation ProgramsDiscounted Cafeteria and Break Room AmenitiesOpportunity for Permanent Hire and Pay IncreasesApply today if you have manufacturing, packaging, pharmaceutical, GMP, cleanroom, or machine operation experience and are looking for a long-term career opportunity!Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cherry Hill, NJ.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
