Job description

Warehouse Packager - Material HandlerThe Packager is responsible for all production activities under the packaging program. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the packaging process including production performance to ensure that production targets are met.Key ResponsibilitiesOperating packaging equipment; including process pumps, compressors, warehousing equipment, and forklifts.Report any faults and maintenance issues to ensure site safety and product quality.Encourage and participate in a Health and Safety culture to ensure a safe working environment.Work in accordance with all company policies relating to health and safety and carry out tasks in a safe manner as detailed in the standard operational procedures, so as to protect the health and safety of yourself and others.Communicate with logistics to ensure that all bulk and packaged deliveries are executed in accordance with customer requirements.Responsible for ensuring that quality control is implemented on a constant basis. Personally follow all operational processes and carry out quality control checks and ensure the close inspection of work activities of the team. Reinforce the importance of the Awareness policy to site personnel, in order to keep the smooth and safe running of workshop operations.Carry out checks of incoming products and materials, and site generated AHRI and customer drums.Carry out operational activities including preparing, filling, picking, and dispatching cylinders.Any other tasks, as requiredExperience, Knowledge, and QualificationHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredMust be able to obtain EPA 608 CertificationMust be available to work at least 40 hours per week and be available for overtime hoursMust have high attention to detail to receive, inspect, and certify incoming and outgoing cylindersMust be able to follow standard operating proceduresMust be able to handle high-pressure and liquid cylindersPrevious experience working with compressed gas and/or gas cylinders is a plusPhysical RequirementsConstantly works in environments with uncontrolled climate and frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditionsFrequently operates a computer using a traditional keyboard to input detailed information such as serial numbersFrequently drives a motorized vehicle or powered industrial truck (i.e. Forklift) and safely maneuver in restrictive spacesStooping and kneeling up to 20% of the dayFrequently pushes, pulls, moves and/or lifts up to 50 pounds independentlySitting 10% of the day; standing and/or walking 80-90% of the timeLifting/Carrying from one level to another approximately 20%Occasionally moves cylinders that weigh up to 200 pounds with four-wheel cartMore about us:Comprehensive Benefits: Affordable health coverage for employees and your family, Low-cost Dental and Vision benefits, 401k retirement with company matchWork-Life Balance: 10 Paid Holidays, plus 2 flex days for your use, Generous paid time off for personal, vacation, parental, and medical leaveWe're Committed to Your Growth: Comprehensive training program to help you learn and excel, Opportunities for certifications and professional developmentSafety First Mindset: All required PPE is provided, including an annual boot allowance, gloves, glasses, and uniformsTeam Culture: Join our collaborative team that celebrates success together!
