Packaging And Warehouse AssociatesOur client, Chelsea Milling Company - JIFFY, is seeking Packaging And Warehouse Associates to join their team. Openings are on all shifts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.Location: Chelsea, MIPay Range: $18 - $18.30 per hour.Shift: Monday through Friday: 1st shift is 7am-3pm, 2nd shift is 3pm-11pm and 3rd shift is 11pm- 7am.What's the Job? Warehouse:Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.Move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.Load and unload trucks as needed.Assist with inventory organization and warehouse housekeepingPackaging:Monitor ingredient quality and report any contamination or non-conforming products immediately.Operate and monitor all packaging equipment including boxmaker, filler, checkweigher, top sealer, and baler to ensure efficient production.Maintain product quality by inspecting shells, cartons, and printed labels for accuracy and proper quality standards.Load, adjust, and maintain packaging machinery to optimize output and ensure safety compliance.What's Needed?Ability to follow safety protocols and work in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and quality standards.Willingness to learn and train others on job duties.Basic understanding of operating packaging machinery is preferred but not required.Job requires a drug test (Oral - 10 Panel) and a criminal background check (Enhanced Nationwide Search).What's in it for me?Opportunity to work with a reputable organization in the manufacturing sector.Engage in a team-oriented environment that values safety and quality.Gain hands-on experience with advanced packaging equipment.Potential for future growth and development within the company.Supportive work environment committed to diversity and inclusion.Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
