We empower our employees with the resources, incentives, and flexibility that they need to support a healthy, balanced, and fulfilling career by providing many valuable benefits and a balanced compensation structure combined with career development.Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY: Perform manual assembly and packaging tasks on a team-oriented production line including packaging components, placing bottles on a conveyor, labeling cases and cartons, and packing & stacking finished goods.RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direction of the production manager, the incumbent will perform tasks on the product lines assuring products are labeled, coded, and packaged correctly.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Check that components and codes comply with the packaging orderPlace bottles on conveyor linesLabel cases and bagsPack and stack finished goodsControl product quality by communicating item damage or off-spec condition that exists to production supervisor.Maintain a safe working area by keeping it organized and clean throughout the workday including end of shift cleaning.Wear all required PPE (personal protective equipment).Be dependable. Report on time to your position every day giving as much notice as possible of absences.NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Other duties as directed by the Production Manager and/or supervisorPHYSICAL DEMANDS:Lifting - Ability to Lift up to 50 lbsStanding - Stand 8-9 Hours Per DayBending - Frequent BendingClimbing - Minimal ClimbingWORKING CONDITIONS:Temperature – Climate controlled and Non climate controlled. Working temperature varies between areas.Air Quality - Minimal DustLighting - Good lightingPERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS:Safety Toe Work Boots or ShoesSafety GlassesGlovesHearing protection may be required in designated areasQUALIFICATIONS:Physically able to work on feet and lift a maximum of 50 lbs.Ability to read and understand production documents, SDS, and safety information required.0 - 1 years (light assembly or manufacturing experience is helpful)100% onsite - No additional medical exams are required except for drug screeningThis location is considered the Kirkwood area and is West of downtown St. Louis.
