Job DescriptionPackaging Engineer (Summit NJ, or Fort Washington, PA)- Leading Global Consumer Products Pharma company

Oneof the world’s most respected and leading global Consumer Product companies, located in either Summit, NJ or Fort Washington, PA has an immediate need for an experienced Consumer Product Packaging Engineer:
\ N
Preferred Experience:
\ N Skin Care, Cosmetics, FDA / GMP experience preferred
\ N Component Development: Bottles, Tubes, Caps, Closures, Pumps
\ N Packaging Validation
\ N Line Trial experience
\ N Packaging Specificationdevelopment, review and implementation
\ N Working closely with Packaging Suppliers
\ N Manage Cost Improvementinitiatives
\ N Conduct and manage Packaging Testing
\ N Initiation and Review of Change Control documentation;
Writing Technical Justifications
\ N Must work closely as part of cross-functional team
\ N External Manufacturing experience preferred.
\ N
Support and Coordinate Packaging Activities:
\ N Primary Packagingcontact with all relevant internal parties and Suppliers and Contract Manufacturing Sites
\ N Develop and provide necessary documentation for NDP such as Development Plan, Technical Review forum, APR statements, technical memos, etc…
\ N Serve as Packaging Representative on cross functional teams to plan and coordinate all package engineering related functions related to specification changes
\ N Work with R&D and Ops to develop any technical validation plans required to initiate specification updates.
\ N
5 – 7 years professional experience.
\ NBS Degree in Packaging Engineering (or equivalent) is preferred.
\ N
