Packaging OperatorHere at Mars, we have an exciting opportunity for an individual seeking employment to come and join our Royal Canin factory team as a Packaging Operator.Address: 920 Arctic Drive Lebanon, TN 37090The Packaging Operator will be a multi-skilled packing associate who is responsible for achieving maximum efficiency of our packing lines whilst ensuring the highest safety and quality standards are maintained. The Packaging Operator will also play a pivotal role in identifying and delivering continuous improvement projects within the packaging hall.Shift: This role will be a day position. All positions work 12-hour schedules. 4 days on and 4 days off- set schedule. Days: 6:00 am to 6:30 pm.What Are We Looking For?High School diploma or equivalent.Experience in food manufacturing environment and operating high speed packing machines.Mechanical background desirable, but not essentialAbility to multi-taskWhat Will Be Your Key Responsibilities?The Packaging Operator is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of automated packing machines.Key duties include:Machine Setup and Maintenance: Setting up automated packing machines, loading packing materials, making machine adjustments, and ensuring proper sanitation.Troubleshooting and Repairs: Clearing machine jams, reworking defective packaging, troubleshooting machine faults, and maintaining glue and ink supplies.Quality Assurance: Performing and documenting quality checks throughout the packaging process.
