Packaging OperatorsCardinal Staffing Services is immediately hiring Packaging Operators for a large, well-known client in Defiance, OH! This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their manufacturing career in a clean, fast-paced production environment. Packaging Operators will help run production equipment, package and label products, monitor quality, and keep the production area running smoothly.Pay & Benefits$17.00/hour Temp-to-hire opportunity Medical, dental, and vision benefits Generous referral bonuses Opportunity for long-term employmentAvailable Shifts1st Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM 2nd Shift: 4:30 PM – 1:00 AMWhat You'll DoOperate and monitor packaging machinery and production equipmentPackage, label, and inspect products to ensure quality standards are metPerform basic troubleshooting and equipment adjustmentsUse hand tools for minor adjustments and repairsComplete routine quality and production checksMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety, quality, and production proceduresFollow GMP and FDA guidelinesOperate forklifts and other equipment as neededComplete production paperwork and report any issues to the appropriate team membersWhat We're Looking ForManufacturing or packaging experience is preferred, but not requiredMechanical aptitude and a willingness to learnStrong attention to detailAbility to follow instructions and safety proceduresComfortable working in a fast-paced production environmentGood communication and teamwork skillsAbility to troubleshoot basic equipment issuesPrevious experience with machinery, automation, or PLCs is a plusAbility to work overtime as neededAt Cardinal Staffing, a Surestaff Company, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
