Packaging Operator IIIThe person hired for the position of Packaging Operator III will work at our Indianapolis, IN 3M plant site. As a Packaging Operator III you will have will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:Operating automated assembly machines to pack out productsMaintaining quality standards and safety standardsUtilizing 3M Computer systems to track production and packaging cyclesMaintaining communication with production coworkers and supervisors regarding production performanceTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications.Possess a High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start)Work rotating shifts, overtime, extended hours, weekends, holidays as needed, and short notice shift coverageMinimum two (2) months of operating production machinery or CNC equipment in a private public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Basic computer knowledge6 months to 1 year of experience working with production machinery or CNC equipment.Applicants who meet the basic qualifications above will be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process.Work Location: Indianapolis, INTravel: NoneRelocation Assistance: N/AMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Pay Transparency:The starting rate of pay for this position is $20.46. This represents a good faith estimate for this position.
