Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.Job Type: Full-time Shift(s) Available: Various Shifts Compensation: $23.43/hrSign-On Bonus: $1500Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, and PrescriptionDrug InsuranceHealth and Wellness IncentivesPaid Vacation and Holidays401(k) with Cargill matching contributionsFlexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)Short-Term Disability and Life InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Tuition ReimbursementEmployee DiscountsPrincipal Accountabilities:Troubleshoot, operate, and monitor packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiencyAccurately verify, document, and record production quantities produced and/or consumedCommunicate effectively with team members and management during shift handovers and throughout daily operationsEnsure all packaged products meet food safety requirements and customer quality specificationsPerform routine, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on packaging equipmentUnderstand, follow, and comply with all safety rules, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all timesSafely climb on trucks and railcars as required to support operational activitiesOperate track mobile equipment to move railcars in accordance with safety and operating proceduresPerform other duties as assigned to support operational and business needsRequired Qualifications:Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorshipMust be 18 years or older.Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)Basic use of a computerAbility to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)Ability to perform physical job duties, which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without a reasonable accommodationAbility to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or different shifts, with advance noticePreferred Qualifications:Experience operating machinery and/or industrial equipmentMinimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing or military experienceExperience in performing routine, preventive, and troubleshooting maintenance on packaging equipmentPrior experience working around railcars and performing operational tasks such as equipment access and railcar movementExperience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAPExperience with Microsoft OfficeHigh school diploma or GED, or a minimum of two years of equivalent relevant work experienceMinimum of 1 year of forklift operation experienceConsidered candidates will receive a phone call from a (952) area code.
