Packaging Supervisor - Food ManufacturingMcDonough, GA | 1st and 2nd Shift Available | Food Manufacturing | $75,000 - $85,000 per yearWe're looking for a Packaging Supervisor to lead a production team at a food manufacturing facility in McDonough, Georgia. This role owns staffing, training, and day to day performance for a packaging production line, and works closely with the Maintenance Department to keep equipment running at peak efficiency.What You'll DoLead all aspects of team leadership for production employees, including staffing levels, scheduling, and coaching to maintain motivation and moraleBuild and manage employee training processes so the team is qualified across all production operations and trained on safety procedures, company SOPs, and GMPsHandle conflict resolution and disciplinary actions as neededPartner with the Maintenance Department to keep equipment maintained and operating at full efficiencyOwn production efficiency targets for the line and contribute to overall plant efficiencyMaintain open communication between the production team and support departmentsCoach team leaders on performance measures tied to business results, and run regular team meetings to review progress and resolve open issuesAnalyze production data to identify trends and develop corrective action plansRequired QualificationsPrior supervisory or team leadership experience in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturingExperience managing staffing, scheduling, and training for a production teamWorking knowledge of GMP requirements and manufacturing safety proceduresExperience analyzing production data and building corrective action plansPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degreeBackground in lean manufacturing principlesExperience partnering with a Maintenance Department to manage line uptimeCompensation and Benefits$75,000 to $85,000 per yearMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k)Paid time offTo apply, submit your resume for consideration.
