Job description
Lindenmeyr Munroe is seeking an experienced Packaging Sales Specialist to drive growth throughout the Dallas market and surrounding territory. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, expanding existing customer relationships, and providing consultative packaging solutions across a wide range of industries.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in packaging sales/management, strong technical product knowledge, and experience selling corrugated, protective packaging, stretch film, poly products, automation solutions, and other industrial packaging supplies.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new packaging business opportunities throughout the Dallas/Texas market.
Manage and grow a customer base while expanding packaging sales within your existing accounts.
Conduct customer needs assessments and recommend cost-saving and productivity-enhancing packaging solutions.
Collaborate with supplier partners and internal teams to develop comprehensive packaging programs.
Present packaging equipment, automation solutions, and value-added services to customers.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and pricing recommendations.
Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and consistently achieve sales and profit objectives.
Stay informed on packaging market trends, material innovations, and competitive activity.
Coordinate product trials, equipment demonstrations, and implementation projects.
Utilize CRM tools to manage customer activity, forecasts, and sales opportunities.
Qualifications
Minimum 7+ years of packaging sales experience required.
Proven success selling corrugated, protective packaging, stretch film, poly bags, tape, labels, automation equipment, or related packaging solutions.
Strong prospecting, business development, and account management skills.
Ability to build relationships with purchasing managers, operations leaders, supply chain professionals, and business owners.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a territory
Willingness to travel regularly 25-30% throughout Texas region
Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent industry experience will be considered.
